Hack Attack Softball Pitching Machine Overview
The Hack Attack Junior Softball Pitching Machine has a unique 3 wheel design that allows you to see the ball clearly throughout the feeding motion, acceleration and launch, just like a live pitcher.
- The hitter sees the best time to stride and the angle of release, giving her an authentic live-arm experience of timing and location.
- The 3 Wheel design changes the breaking pitch plane by merely changing wheel speed dials. (Virtually all 2 wheel units require inefficient cumbersome throwing head modifications to change from risers to drops or right to left handed breaking pitches.)
- With a quick turn of the dials you can effortlessly throw 60+ MPH fastballs, risers, drops, right- and left-handed screwballs upwards and into the hitters.
- The elevation adjustment handle will lower or raise the pitch. By using an simple turn, you can even move the pitch up or down within the strike zone in between pitches. (On other two-wheel pitching machines it may be necessary to release a locking mechanism, reposition the entire throwing head by tilting it manually and then re-locking the locking mechanism. These are awkward time-consuming adjustments.)
- Throwing head rotates instantly in any direction for all fungo work for example deep 175 ft. fly balls that can drive fielders to the fence, slicing line drives, catcher's pop-ups with reverse spin, towering infield pop-ups, and grounders. The Hack Attack easily moves on and off the field, just tip it, unsocket legs and simply roll on two transporting wheels.
- The front wheel guards insure the throwing wheels never come in contact with the ground. (Some machines are moved using throwing wheels, picking up dangerous dirt and gravel which causes inaccuracy and wear.)
