  • ATEC's Backyard Indoor / Outdoor Batting Cage & Frame Kit is a functional design made of durable materials and is quick and easy set-up.
  • It's great for indoor or outdoor use and is easily transported.
  • Available in a 40' x 10' x 10' or 70' x 10' x 10'  UV resistant net constructed of rugged nylon and trimmed with nylon rope for added strength.
  • The installation kit includes corner supports, center pole supports, quick link connectors and rubber leg caps (for indoor use). Not included: 23 pieces of 10.5' x 1 3/8" 17 or 18 gauge fence top rail tubing (40ft cage) or 38 pieces (70ft cage), which you can purchase at your local hardware store(Lowes, Home Depot. 10.5' is standard length)

  • The batting cage net is constructed using rugged #21, 1.75 inch weather treated and UV resistant black polyester mesh netting.
  • This batting cage net is trimmed with .25 inch black nylon rope for added strength and support where most needed.
  •  The installation kit hardware includes: frame corners, frame unions,white leg caps for safe use indoors and quick-link connectors for suspending the net internally to the frame.
  •  All corners and unions are 1.5 inch welded steel tube with a durable powder-coat finish for long wear.

Ordered on a Saturday, at my door on Thursday.  We got the 70' cage and would highly recommend at least 3 people for assembly; two tall ladders (at least 8 foot); and the anti-seize recommended by another reviewer.  Boys love it!

Better than you might think! March 30, 2013

This is much better than you might expect. The box is about a cubic yard. Huge!! it is almost all net! The net is very sturdy. Not one of those glorified mosquito nets that they sell that look like a tunnel. The cate is huge. You will need one tall step ladder, three adults and about an hour and a half. I recommend using a generous glob of Anti-seize on all the locking nuts. since this is outside. You can pick it up at any auto parts store. Great for the money.
