Rookie Pitching Machine

Machine-pitch youth leagues were built around the ATEC Rookie because of it's all-around reliability and performance.

This Rookie delivers consistent fastballs and throws the best defensive training drills on the field...for any level of play!

Patented concave aluminum disc and durable disc pad. Cast aluminum frame. Quick-release legs and durable transport wheels. 110V 1/4 HP. Generator use 600W CD. Machine weight 68 lbs.

Rookie Speed Control
Note: Some baseball coaches have found when using it as a pitching machine(the Rookie on CaddyPod) the angle of delivery is too low.
If this is a concern, please choose the Legs option and you will have a machine that delivers the ball at standard baseball height for batting practice.
When choosing the Legs option, the machine you receive will only come with the Legs and Not the CaddyPod...its either one or the other.

Excellent for Defensive Drills June 29, 2015

When on a caddy, this is a great machine for defensive drills. It allows for quick transition from drill to drill and delivers on a quick 7 second recovery.

I was satisfied with the machine. I think the tri pod legs need to be a little longer as when I place it behind the L Screen the machine does not stand tall enough to pitch over the screen but over all well pleased

I almost bought this last season and did not. I sure wish I did. I use the Rookie for bunting practice behind a turtle behind HP during BP.

I also use it for all O/F drills and diving drills for INF/OF. Shoots good groundballs too. If you do not have enough coaches...buy this!!
