YOU GOT IT!
The Bata 2Pitch3 Baseball Pitching Machine can throw a 95 mph fastball and a 75 mph curveball IN ONE SET UP...and every variety of speeds in between.
The All New 2013 model 2Pitch3 can throw more types of pitches than the old 2P3.
Both the Fastball head and the Curveball head can be tilted 35-degrees left or right to simulate
right handed or left handed pitching. The old 2P3 could throw only a straight fastball and a right handed curveball.
The Fastball head now has two individual speed controllers. This allows you to set up the Fastball
head to throw any type of pitch (similar to the BATA-2).
Being able to alter the ratio of the two motor speeds allows
you to throw many different types of fastballs (straight, sinking, tailing, etc.), as well as other pitches (slider,
knuckleball)
- The Brand New BATA 2Pitch3
Baseball Pitching Machine is BATA's most highly
versatile pitching machine.
- Actually,
you
will be purchasing two
high-performance pitching machines all in
a single set-up!
- 1
machine pitches up to 95 MPH fastballs, while
the other pitches up to 75 MPH curve balls.
- This is simply the
best
pitching machine on
the market for simulating
real-game circumstances.
- It can
also be tilted down
or up to throw high pop flies and grounders.
- The 2Pitch3
has
a total of
three soft-tread pitching wheels: two are
employed to pitch the blazing
95 MPH fastballs, and
one is
used (along
with a compression pad that mimics
a fourth wheel spinning at zero speed) to pitch incredible
curve balls.
- The 2Pitch3 has two
separate
variable speed controls: one to control the speed of the fastball, and
one to
control the speed of the curveball.
- Likewise,
the height adjustment
and inside-outside adjustment
for the fastball and curveball are independent of each
other.
- With the Autofeeder option, a pitch separator will automatically alternate each ball from one wheel to the other.
The BATA 2Pitch3 can throw
either real leather baseballs or dimpled pitching machine baseballs (it cannot
throw softballs).
Constructed with BATA's high-quality solid-state control
box components, three Goodyear Rubber Soft Tread pitching wheels, and heavy-duty
welded, solid steel stand and frame, the BATA 2Pitch3 is built to last for
years.
In fact, it's backed by an incredible
5-year limited warranty.
BATA machines are used by many MLB
organizations:
- San Diego Padres
- Arizona Diamondbacks
- Toronto Blue Jays
- Chicago White Sox
- Anaheim Angels
- Oakland A's
- Los
Angeles Dodgers
- Seattle Mariners.
AutoFeeding:Using the Autofeeder option allows for alternating pitches as the feeder is divided into 2 chutes of 10 balls. When engaged, the feeder alternates between each head for a very realistic "at bat".
There are some limitations when Auto Feeding the 2Pitch3 and 2Pitch4
machines.
Some combinations of speed and distance will not work.
If you are throwing slower from a certain distance
than is realistic, the feed chutes will be out of alignment, and would not be able to accept the balls properly when
auto feeding.
General rule of thumb:the minimum curveball speed (in mph) is about equal to the pitching distance
(in feet).
For example, when auto feeding, the minimum speed curveball from 45 feet pitching distance is about
45 mph.
From 55 feet, the minimum curveball speed is about 55 mph.
The fastball will normally be about 15-20% faster
than the curveball.
Roll-Away Stand (Option)
The Roll-Away Stand is designed to be used with the 2Pitch4 and 2Pitch3 machines, but it will work
with any BATA machine.
The RAS fits right into your current Tripod Base.
The RAS stays on the machine when you are using the machine. The steering handle steers the back
wheel, and also serves to lock the back wheel when pitching. The handle retracts and extends to lock in place.
The two front legs extend and retract. Legs are extended when pitching, and retract to transport the machine.
Construction is steel.
Wheels are 10" x 3" Flat-Free wheels.
Weight: 46 lbs.
